Emelita Hernandez-Bravo

Emelita oversees all things legal ops at Fitbit. From the contracts lifecycle management and eBilling processes to the application of analytics and metrics and, more recently, the implementation of legal hold and data preservation solutions, she drives initiatives across the legal department with a focus on process improvement. These legal ops initiatives have led to better cross-functional alignment and overall improvements in the way internal business functions work with the legal team. In this role she also assists the Fitbit legal leadership team with strategic initiatives, financial planning, and creating a long-term technology roadmap.

Before Fitbit, Emelita managed legal operations at Business Wire, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, for 8 years. She studied Organizational Behavior at the University of San Francisco and currently serves as a co-lead for the CLOC Bay Area Regional Group.

David Horrigan

David Horrigan is discovery counsel and legal education director at Relativity.  An attorney, award-winning journalist, and former legal technology industry analyst, David has served as counsel at the Entertainment Software Association, reporter and assistant editor at The National Law Journal, and analyst and counsel at 451 Research.

A law school guest lecturer and legal media contributor, David has been cited in The American Lawyer, American Public Media, Bloomberg BNA, Corporate Counsel, JUVE (Germany), Legaltech News, The Wall Street Journal CIO Journal, The Washington Examiner, among others, and he has been cited in law reviews and journals of Emory University, Northwestern University, Yale University, and others.

David serves on the Global Advisory Board of the Association of Certified e-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS), the Data Law Board of Advisors at Cardozo Law School, and the Editorial Advisory Board of Legaltech News. He holds a juris doctor from the University of Florida, studied international law at Universiteit Leiden in the Netherlands, and is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia.

Katrina Keiffer

Katrina Keiffer is Law Department Senior Manager at Navistar, responsible for developing and leading the Legal Operations teams.  In this role she focuses on legal technology, financial management, vendor management, strategic planning, process improvements, project management, and championing a variety of projects focused on improving efficiency in the Law department. She also serves on the company's  Information Governance program team and other cross-functional teams as needs arise.

Ms. Keiffer previously served in a variety of business and technical consulting roles for clients including Navistar, Kraft Foods, Ameritech, and others.

Ms. Keiffer received a BS in Computer Science from Northwestern University and a JD from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.

Andrew Hubley (Moderator)

Andrew Hubley is a Customer Experience Manager for Bloomberg Law. In his role, he collaborates with customers, sales, and internal Bloomberg Law teams to align the future development goals of Bloomberg Law with our customers and their goals. Previously, he was a Senior Legal Editor focused on identifying, developing and drafting tools and practical content in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and private equity. Prior to Bloomberg Law, Mr. Hubley was a corporate associate at a major law firm where he advised corporate and private equity clients on mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, and other corporate matters. Andrew is admitted to practice in Michigan and Washington, D.C.

Mr. Hubley holds a B.S. in Finance from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) and a J.D., magna cum laude, from the Villanova University School of Law.
